Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

We handle your data with the same care we'd want applied to our own. If you have any questions, just email us.

1. Who we are

VisaLog is a UK visa absence tracking tool. We are based in the United Kingdom and are subject to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the data controller of your personal information.

📧 Contact us at: hello@visalog.co.uk

2. What data we collect

When you join our waitlist, we collect:

  • Email address — to send you updates about VisaLog's launch, early access, and pricing
  • Name (if provided) — to personalise our communications
  • Sign-up date — to manage our waitlist

That's it. We don't collect any other personal data at this stage.

3. Our lawful basis for processing

Consent — when you join our waitlist, you give us consent to contact you about VisaLog. You can withdraw this at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email we send.

4. How we use your data

We use your data only to:

  • Send you updates about VisaLog's launch, early access dates, and pricing
  • Let you know when early bird or founding member pricing is available

We will never sell your data, share it with advertisers, or email you about anything unrelated to VisaLog.

5. Who we share your data with

We use one trusted third-party service to manage our waitlist:

  • MailerLite — email platform that stores your email address on our behalf, bound by a data processing agreement. View their Privacy Policy

We do not share your data with anyone else, and we do not transfer it outside the UK/EEA.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Until you unsubscribe, or 2 years from sign-up if you never engage with our emails — whichever comes first

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, and to object to how we process it. Email us at hello@visalog.co.uk and we'll respond within 30 days.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

8. Cookies

Our pages use only essential cookies required for them to function. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make significant changes, we'll let you know by email. The "last updated" date above will always reflect the most recent version.

Questions? Email us at hello@visalog.co.uk — we'll respond within 2 business days.
